My Global Citizenship

As our world grows increasingly interdependent, GCED is more vital than ever for international solidarity and inspiring learners of all ages to positively contribute to their local and global communities. Global citizenship refers to the idea that individuals belong to a global community and share a common humanity, transcending national borders and identities.

At The Global Citizens’ Initiative (TGCI) we define a global citizen as someone who sees himself or herself as being part of an emerging world .
