In a vibrant celebration of Janmashtami, Suncity School brought together students from classes VI to VIII for a day filled with creativity, competition, and joy. The festivities began with a delightful Matki decoration activity, where students eagerly transformed simple earthen pots into stunning masterpieces. Using decorative materials available at home, their creativity knew no bounds, as each matki emerged as a unique work of art, reflecting the students' dedication and artistic flair. The celebration continued with a series of engaging and fun-filled races. Primary students enthusiastically participated in a variety of races, including the matki race, hurdle race, lemon race, jalebi race, sack race, and hula hoop race, each one sparking joy and excitement. Middle school students joined in with equal enthusiasm, competing in activities like aim your matki, the three-legged race, and the chain race, showcasing their agility and teamwork. For the senior students, the thrill reached new heights with a competitive tug of war and the much-anticipated "Catch Krishna's Matki" activity. These events tested their strength, coordination, and teamwork, fostering a sense of camaraderie and festive spirit among the participants. The day was a true celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, filled with laughter, creativity, and playful joy, leaving lasting memories for students and teachers alike.
